Miguel Juárez serves as president and executive director of San Fernando Valley Small Business Development Corporation dba Golden State CDC. He has worked in the SBA lending industry over 20 years at national and community banks where he developed, negotiated, and underwrote bank debt. He has a thorough understanding of financial analysis, risk management, and SBA standard operating procedures.

Miguel holds a Credit Risk Certified professional designation awarded by the Risk Management Association (RMA). He is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, Washington and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University at Northridge.
